Description of the place
The historic Biriya Castle is located in the city of Safed, and it is basically a Palestinian Arab village. In 1945, the Israelis built a castle that they called “Biriya.” They destroyed the Palestinian village in 1948 and dispersed its inhabitants. Nowadays, it is a museum and a natural area that residents and tourists visit for hiking, hiking, and taking distinctive memorial photos.
