Bridge of the Spiers
The Towers Bridge is a historic pedestrian bridge located before the Cannaregio Canal flow point into the Grand Canal, specifically near the turn that leads to the Rialto Bridge. It is considered one of the symbols of the city and its vital attractions. It is distinguished by its carved and ornate balustrade, similar to other bridges in the city. This bridge was made of wood, then it was rebuilt using stone in 1580 AD, and towers were added to it in 1823 AD.
