The Busan Fishing Village Folk Museum was opened on February 23, 2007 as a branch of the Busan Museum of Maritime Natural History, and displays cultural artifacts and materials related to the traditions, history, folklore, and development of Busan fishing culture and development. It is divided into Nakdong River Fishing Village Folk Hall and Busan Fishing Village Folk Hall.
