The Jeonju History Museum opened its doors in 2002 and is one of the museums dedicated to preserving Korea's rich history from extinction and loss. In the museum, visitors will find dozens of permanent exhibitions, such as the Donghak Farm Revolution (1894 uprising against colonial Japan), organized popular rebellion against colonialism, an exhibition dedicated to the independence movement, and many more. This museum is visited by lovers of colonial history and liberation movements from all over the world.
