Cape Arkona Lighthouse

Cape Arkona includes two lighthouses and a radio navigation tower on the German Baltic Sea coast on the Witto peninsula in the northern part of the island of Rügen. The lighthouse was designed by the famous German architect Schinkel in a classic style. All three towers were renovated in the early 1990s. The twentieth century, and in the old lighthouse there is a museum that includes an exhibition on lighthouses and marine rescue, in addition to an outstation for the local registry office.
