Church of Anthony of Padua
The Church of Anthony of Padua is one of the most beautiful buildings of Baroque architecture in Eger. It is also known as the Minoret Church. It was consecrated in honor of Saint Anthony in 1771 and designed by Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer, architect of the Archbishop of Vienna. The official date of building the church is 1771, but its interior spaces continued to be decorated until 1792 by the artists of that time. Its main entrance is flanked by pairs of Corinthian columns. The building as a whole is unique and worth visiting and seeing.
