Synagogue of Miskolc

The Miskolc Synagogue is one of the most important buildings of Romano-Hungarian architecture in the city of Miskolc. It was built between 1861 and 1863 by Ludwig Förster, who also designed the synagogue on Doany Street in Budapest. The furniture of the original Miskolc Synagogue was changed in 1864, and a marble memorial table at the main gate for the victims and kidnapped Jews from Miskolc and the surrounding settlements in 1944.
