Church of Paraportiani

The beautiful Byzantine Paraportiani church overlooking the sea is located in Kastro district, in the town of Chora, on the Greek island of Mykonos. Its name means "Lady of the Side Door" in Greek, as its entrance is found in the side gate of the Kastro district. The construction of this church began in 1425 AD, and it was not completed until the seventeenth century AD. This distinctive white church also consists of five separate churches. Visit it with family or friends, as it is definitely a place worth seeing and visiting.
