Description of the place
The Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Lazarus is a symbol of the city of Larnaca and one of its majestic historical and archaeological treasures. It was built in the late ninth century AD. It has a Byzantine architectural design, three domes and a magnificent bell tower. It is home to the gold-plated iconostasis, which is a distinguished example of Baroque sculpture. .
