Church of the Holy Spirit

The Church of the Holy Spirit is the most famous church in Heidelberg, as it is located in the heart of the market place in the old town, and its high tower is visible from all parts of the city. Work began on the construction of this beautiful church in the year 1426, and the architects at that time did an amazing job, as it has not been touched by any modification since that time and the church is still in very excellent condition. The church was built in the late Gothic architectural style, so visitors will find stunning arches, huge windows and high vaults.
