The Monastery of Paradise in Amalfi represents a true architectural masterpiece, as it combines European and Moorish architecture styles in one building, surrounded by a vast garden adorned with palm trees and colorful flowers, as well as artifacts distributed throughout. The monastery garden is likened to paradise due to its charming green nature. With regard to the history of the monastery only, it was built in the thirteenth century between the years 1266 and 1268, and the monastery gains its fame because it contains the relics of the body of St. Andrew, who was crucified in Patras, Greece, and his body was transported to Constantinople during the Fourth Crusade, and then his body was brought to Amalfi year 1208.
