Description of the place
The cross pond north of Ridagshausen was created by Cistercian monks for fish farming more than 900 years ago; Today it is a central part of the European Nature Reserve and Reserve there. The dams between the ponds and the nearby forests encourage you to take long walks without feeling the time for the beauty of the scenery and the curiosity to get to know the place more and more.
