Description of the place
The Great Mosque is an active Islamic temple that tourists can visit outside of prayer times. The mosque has one minaret, which is also available to visitors and provides a wonderful view of the city. The main building material used in the construction of the mosque was limestone, which gives the building its beige-yellow color. The mosque has a long history dating back to the thirteenth century.
