Dom Square

Cathedral Square was designed by Béla Rerrich between 1928 and 1930, with an area of about 12,000 square meters, and is bordered by elegant buildings in the Nordic European style. The Bishop's Palace and the College of Theology. The National Pantheon (an ancient Roman temple) located in this square includes more than a hundred statues of prominent figures in Hungarian history, science and art. The square hosts many festivals and cultural events that attract tourists from all over.
