Dwejra Tower
Dwejra Tower
small watchtower located in one of the bays of the island of Gozo. It is a historical tower whose construction was completed in the year 1652. The aim of its construction was to protect the areas from enemy attacks, especially pirate attacks, as the watchman in the tower used to communicate with the nearby defensive fortifications through fire and smoke. The tower is currently used as a view of the Mediterranean Sea, so do not miss the opportunity to visit it!
