Description of the place
This stunning castle is situated on the eastern bank of the river, on a steep hillside, in the heart of beautiful vineyards. The first mention of this castle in historical manuscripts dates back to the year 1212, when the Archbishop ordered it to be built as a fortress against enemy attacks. It is possible to reach this castle and see its ruins and what remains of it through hiking trails.
