El Saucillo Aqueduct
The El Saúdio aqueduct was built between 1732 and 1738 in the city of Hidalgo, to provide the city with water. The canal consists of 14 arches with a length of 155 meters and a maximum height of 44 meters in its central arches. In addition to its role in preserving water, it constitutes a great architectural masterpiece that used Islamic architecture in the formation of arches that are still important to this day, and can never fail to amaze the beholder.
