Felgueiras Lighthouse

Portugal was one of the countries where great sailors and explorers were born, and had to find their way home after long voyages, and so lighthouses became an important landmark in coastal towns. The Filgeras Lighthouse is located on the mouth of the Douro River just before it unites with the Atlantic Ocean.
