Description of the place
The name Fofam Square literally means 'main customs square' and merchants used to sell their wares in the adjoining Great Market Hall which dates back to 1890. The Liberty Bridge just to the right of the square leads to the Gellert Hotel; As you can see, the square is a strategic place to reach many of the city's distinctive landmarks.
