Known as the French Church, this church was built between 1270-1285. It is distinguished by its magnificent building in the very old Romanesque style. It was initially a Dominican monastic church, but in 1623 it became a francophone Protestant church. It is one of the oldest churches in Bern and in Switzerland. There are arches, decorations, stained glass, giant windows, many beautiful towers, a stunning altar, and more. It is a church worth visiting if you are in Bern.
