Gallery Espolin

Established in 1992, this memorial gallery showcases the work of the late Norwegian artist Kaare Espolin Johnson, as well as that of her father. Displays include drawings, photographs, a childhood piano, abstract paintings, and more. The museum also displays separate works by local artists. The museum's exterior was designed by architect Gisle Jakhelln, who drew inspiration from traditional Icelandic architecture because he had Icelandic ancestors.
