Garmo Stave Church
The Garmo stave church is located on top of a hill near the entrance to the Open Air Museum. It is the most impressive building in the area with its pointed tower with dragon heads on the roof surfaces that stare out into the sky. The church was built as early as the 1200s, but it has been destroyed several times, most recently it was destroyed in the year 1730. The church shows the history from the Middle Ages to the present day so don't hesitate to visit it and enjoy the feeling of going back to ancient times.
