Gruyères Castle

Gruyere Castle has stood proudly above a green hill on the majestic slopes of the Alps since the 13th century. Today, the medieval castle houses prestigious collections attested to by its long and eventful history. Visitors can travel through the ages and discover its wonderful treasures of ancient stained glass windows, heads of the Order of the Golden Fleece, wall decorations, paintings by Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot, and troubadour decorations for a room. Musketeers, created in the nineteenth century by a group of enthusiastic artists.
