Gun House

This museum was a former armory in the twentieth century, but now it is now a museum and a place of historical importance and a major landmark in Mysore, as it houses many military weapons and royal cannons, and it is a relic of the city's colonial past. The building is a mixture of Tudor towers and European Baroque elements. The central hall has a hipped roof with dormers while the front arched openings are framed with white stone. The rooms at either end have gabled roofs with characteristic moldings.
