Description of the place
Gunung Lipa Temple, which dates back to the eighth century, enjoys a beautiful location in a picturesque green forest overlooking the Kambuhan Valley in Bali. It is one of the most important temples in Ubud. It is dedicated to Goddess Batur. It features a beautiful traditional design surrounded by many ornate carvings and colorful statues. It was built by Indian priest Rsi Markandeya.
