Hall of the Boat

The pond room is located in the northern portico of the Court of Patio de los Arrayanes. It can be entered through a pointed arch. Its name comes from the Arabic word “baraka”, which is transformed into the Spanish word “barca” which means boat. There are many decorative phrases on the interior walls of the hall, so you see the word "Blessing" is repeated frequently in addition to the dynasty's motto, which is "God alone is the victor."
