Hamori Lake
Buk National Park, which is considered one of the most beautiful natural environments in Hungary, includes Lake Hamori in the eastern part of the Buk Mountains, at an altitude of 350 meters, a kilometer and a half in length and nine meters deep. It was called the "Upper Fish Pond", and the current lake has been developed. By increasing the production of water in Cinva and Garadna from the dam, the design of which was one of the most important engineering feats of the eighteenth century, and between 1932 and 1944, it was allowed to swim in Lake Hamori, and today it is possible to sail and boat in it, and in winter, the frozen lake can be used for ice skating .
