Hermon Stream Nature Reserve
Hermon Stream Nature Reserve
natural reserve and a distinctive historical landmark in the Golan. Its formerly fertile plain lands were laden with vineyards and splendid oak trees. This area is distinguished by the presence of the longest waterfall in the country, and the Banias River, which is one of the branches of the Jordan River, feeds this waterfall. In the past, farmers took advantage of this river and derived several channels from it to water crops, which made Banias a very fertile area. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this reserve if you are a nature lover.
