Description of the place
The House of Dionysus is located in the impressive Paphos Archaeological Park. It is a hidden gem and has been preserved from the second century to the present day. Its most important feature is the wonderful and colorful mosaics that adorn its ancient floor (with an area of 2000 square meters), which is surrounded by ruins and stone remains dating back to Roman times. Its entrance is also adorned with shells depicting the legendary sea monster "Scylla".
