Hovenring

The Hövenring Bridge is the first bridge of its kind in the world dedicated to bicycles. It was built in 2008 as a result of the increasing traffic between Eindhoven and Veldhoven. Therefore, it was decided to separate the movement of bicycles from cars by building a circular bridge dedicated to bicycles, and the name literally means "Hovens Ring" as it connects Eindhoven and Veldhoven, as it refers to the shape of the suspension bridge, while the lights that decorate the bridge at night refer to naming the city of Eindhoven as "the city of lights". You can visit the bridge, enjoy cycling and take pictures.
