Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism
The Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism was established in 1966 and began its work in the world heritage Buda Castle. This is the only museum of its kind in the world, featuring exhibit materials collected from the region of Hungary, initially the museum's collection contained only food industry artifacts, which was later expanded by adding a collection of trade history artifacts. The Museum has a special responsibility to participate actively in teaching and further education, and therefore supports the expansion of professional knowledge through guided tours, lectures and also competitions.
