Jagwangsa Temple is a Buddhist temple located in the heart of Daejeon, and it is one of the oldest temples in Korea, dating back more than 2,000 years, according to Korean mythology. It is distinguished as a very spacious temple and extends over several floors. It is decorated from the outside with statues of gods and a huge golden door. From the inside, visitors will find several altars and statues of gods and others. The temple has been destroyed several times throughout history and the existing building dates back to the year 1790, so do not miss the opportunity to visit it!
