Jayan's Statue

Monument to film actor, navy officer and performer Jayan. Jayan was a cultural icon in the 1970s and 1980s, as he was the hero of more than 150 films, and he was famous for his unique personality. He still has a large number of fans to this day, as in their opinion he is considered one of the legends of Indian cinema. So the Kollam municipality has built this golden memorial for him in the heart of Kollam.
