Kamares Aqueduct
The Kamares Water Canal, known as the Bakir Pasha Canal, was built in the Roman style in 1750 AD, and it continued to operate and mainly supply the city with water until 1939 AD, and it consists of 75 stone arches, only 20 of which are still intact, and are lit in the the night. This wonderful historic landmark is surrounded by paved paths, ideal for strolling and sitting back, that lead to the salt lake.
