The Peace Monument erected in the city of Ayia Napa refers to the common values between Cyprus and Russia in an attempt to consolidate world peace and the prosperity of peoples. This monument was erected in honor of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives against fascism during World War II, so that humanity can continue to live with pride and dignity. Today, the monument is one of the most important tourist attractions in the city.
