Kasteel van Arenberg

Built since the beginning of the 16th century in the Renaissance style, Arenberg Castle was extensively renovated in the neo-Gothic style in the 19th century. It was home to the Croy family, then the Arenberg family until World War I. Nowadays, the castle is used by the Faculty of Engineering Sciences at the University of Louvain cou, surrounded by the Arenberg park along with many university buildings and the hustle and bustle of students and researchers. It is a must-visit place in Leuven.
