Description of the place
Driving through the beautiful, winding country lanes of Georgia's remote western Imereti region is a very pleasant travel experience, but not one associated with religious experiences, until you pass the Katski Pillar, a natural limestone monolith that rises more than 40 meters in the air. Above it stands the most isolated and sacred church in the world.
