Narikala Fortress
The Narikala Fortress, or Narikala Fortress, is an ancient symbol of the defense of Tbilisi. It was founded in the fourth century, in the period in which the city itself was founded, and has charming architecture. Visitors to this fort walk along the Narikala Tourist Road, a 1,500-meter-long path that winds from the top of the hills down to the Old Town near the entrance to the Botanical Gardens. It offers stunning views at every turn, and is especially fun at night when the lights of the city below come on.
