Khawr Awqad

Khawr Awqad is located in the Dhofar Governorate, on the outskirts of the ancient city of Awqad. Its area is about 16 hectares. It is one of the sites frequented by birds throughout the year, such as egrets, herons, Abu Mahjal, and many other species. The Al Khor area includes many picturesque landscapes that are worth seeing, and this destination also combines wildlife, lush botanical gardens, an amazing network of winding walking paths, lively squares, and calm bodies of water.
