Krakus Mound
The Krakow Hill is believed to date back to the Neolithic period and legends hold it as the burial place of King Kraków. But archaeological research that has been done since then has determined that it was built sometime around the 8th century AD, and was once surrounded by four smaller burials (demolished in the 19th century). The hill is 60 meters wide at its base and 16 meters high at the top, where you can see panoramic views from Kazimierz to the city center to the Podgorish cemetery.
