Ksiezy Mlyn

It is the largest historic residential complex in Łódź, built in the second half of the 19th century on the site of a former mill owned by a local priest. Hence its name from which it was created by Karol Wilhelm Schepler, a businessman from the West Rhine region who came to Poland in 1848 and settled in Łódź a few years later. The complex includes factory buildings, residential properties, schools, hospitals, a fire station, and a gas station, as well as gardens and parks.
