Kranj tunnels

These secret tunnels were built at the bottom of Kranj during World War II, and were used as shelters for the city’s residents, and they extend in the agglomerated rocks across 1300 meters, and the climate in them is similar to natural caves, so there are some sediments and rare animals such as cave cockroaches, and inside the tunnel there is an exhibition on the history of the Krani tunnels The people who built it are Josip Slavec and Josip Dedek. There is also an exhibition of minerals and fossils, as well as a simulation of a shell hitting the tunnels during World War II.
