Lake Iseo

It is the fourth largest lake in Lombardy. It is located in the north of the country. The lake is divided almost equally between the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia. The northern part of the lake has been converted into a protected area as part of the Valle Camonica - Alto UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The lake is famous for its clear turquoise waters and the picturesque natural environment of the surrounding green mountains. It attracts tourists greatly to enjoy the picturesque natural features and being suitable for practicing various water activities.
