Lake Lungern was formed because of the dam, the lake was named after the town in which it is located, the lake has a stunning view of the surrounding mountains, the lake is visited by many tourists throughout the year, especially in summer times, to do many activities, including swimming, sailing, walking or cycling in the circular path around the lake, and of course sit and relax by the lake.
