Description of the place
Montsalvins is an artificial lake located in the Swiss canton of Friborg, with a capacity of about 12.6 million cubic meters and an area of 0.74 square kilometers. It is located on the road leading to Juan Pass between the villages of Brock and Charmy, surrounded by trees and picturesque green spaces on all sides, and is famous for being a popular destination. For hiking trails, there is a suspension bridge nearby and a dam dating back to the 1920's.
