Latin Bridge

Near this ancient stone bridge, the Latin Bridge, or as it is also called the War Bridge, occurred the most important historical events in the world, which was the spark of the beginning of World War I when Gavrilo Princip assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand, Crown Prince of Austria in 1914. The bridge was originally built by One of the Ottoman workers and it was restored throughout history to turn into the now existing stone bridge, which is a destination for tourists in the city of Sarajevo, as the surroundings of the bridge have many vibrant neighborhoods, various shops and many restaurants.
