Liechtenstein Garden Palace
Liechtenstein (City Palace), is a residential building in the 1st district of Vienna, and is one of two palaces in Vienna belonging to the Princely family of Liechtenstein. The palace was built between 1692 and 1705 by Italian architect Domenico Martinelli and Swiss architect Gabriel de Gabrieli. The house luckily escaped destruction during World War II when bombs fell nearby. It is still used as a private residence by the royal family and is one of the city's most vibrant and distinguished attractions, in addition to being an example of the wonderful coexistence between picturesque nature and majestic architecture. And all its visitors can enjoy seeing the beautiful works of art dating from the period between the early Renaissance to the current Baroque era.
