Description of the place
The Guimarães Living Science Center is an interesting science museum, located in a former historic tannery in the Zona de Corros leather industry in Guimarães. Although the museum is primarily aimed at schoolchildren, it is of interest to adults as well. Pictures and murals explain the tanning process used by many of the leather tanneries that once thrived in the area.
