Lofoten War Memorial Museum
museum that tells about the events of World War II and its impact on the Lofoten Archipelago in particular, and it is a relatively new museum that was opened in 1996 after 10 years of collecting exhibits from all over the archipelago. Among the exhibits there are large collections of military uniforms, including costumes for the most important Norwegian war leaders, as well as a file of letters between a German commander and an officer in the army, lanterns, compasses, Nazi flags, boats and many others.
