Main Church of Caminha
Kaminha Main Church, also known as the Church of Our Lady, is a parish church and one of the largest and most important religious buildings in the north of the country. It was built in Gothic, Manueline and Renaissance styles within the medieval walls of Kaminha village on the ruins of a primitive Romanesque chapel. This church was built in 1488 and completed in 1556 with the main façade tower. Because of this, its building has a wonderful mixture of styles and influences, and has been designated a national monument since June 16, 1910.
